The Beckenham School Yr 5 and 6 team have been producing a major production about a young man named Maui, the play is all about his life story.
The team of students and teachers are looking forward to this performance and have been practising hard during school hours and although not everyone is a main character everybody has a small part in this production, so nobody is excluded.
Preparations are in place and the date for this masterpiece is set for the 8th of December. To get the play perfect in this short time has everyone in nervous states but words have gone around saying rehearsals are getting better and better everyday!

Maui - Duncan Mattchet
Taranga (Maui’s mother) - Ashleen Tangaroa (Sea God) - Destiny Godoy
Narrators - Ashtyn Moses-Jones and Isabella Fanselow
Ra (Sun God )- Matthew Bartram
Hine (Goddess of Darkness) - Grace
Maui’s brothers- Kale Thatcher , Sam Menzies , Max McCabe, Barry Stace
